I still consider myself new to neon, as I have had more spiratic practice since moving to Indiana. I did learn tube bending while I was in my MFA at Tyler in Philly, and participated in a Mentor/Mentorship residency with Victoria Ahmadizadeh through She Bends, where I was the student learner. and Lastly I also participated in the Pilchuck neon residency last summer, where I also had an introduction to bombarding. I am trying to find ways to stay connected to the community, despite my limited knowledge of neon in Indianapolis, and desire to grow something here.
