I am a scholar who has researched the history of neon since 2010. I serve on the Board of the Museum of Neon Art. I co-authored, with my neon-sign-maker husband Paul Greenstein, Neon: A Light History; a short book for which profits benefit the Museum of Neon Art.

What do you say, and what do you hear others saying? "Argon-mercury" or "Mercury-argon"? How long have you been using the term you use? I'm curious to see which one is more common. Thanks!
