I'm a several decades (I lost count) veteran of the industry. I operated my own company City Neon Inc. I"m an adjunct professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I teach courses in neon and light. I designed the Light Lab facility and wrote the curriculum. I recently founded the Chicago Neon Community Co-op. It's a 501(c)(3) that hopes to address the glaring need for a place that my students post-graduation, working creative professionals and the general public can make and show neon.
