I started neon making as an artist after learning to blow glass at Alfred University in 2012. I got an industry job to keep access to the material in Norfolk, Virginia with Bryan Riehl as soon as I graduated (2015). Through the commercial neon industry I refined my skills with a steady stream of artworks, commissions, and mentorship that continually pushed my own limits and expanded my skillsets. A few other industry jobs, shops, and states later and I now co-run Nebula Neon in Brooklyn, New York with Ali Feeney. We fabricate neon and neon adjacent plasma-ey things for artists, designers, sign companies, and businesses both big and small. I also continue to push and re-discover my own limits with my own artworks that tend to utilize neon in some form or another.
