seeking: intensive, multi-week training opportunities or apprenticeship/mentor

I'm an amateur neon bender and glass artist on the side of my full-time work in the arts and culture nonprofit world. My work and exploration so far are in conversation with the tradition of sign-making from all angles. What does it mean to make meaning? What does it mean to craft signs? What are we being advertised and what is taking up space in our mental sphere? I'm very in love with soft glass and gas, and am seeking mentorship, learning and training, and opportunities to connect with neon artists and mixed glass process artists. I rent studio time at Urban Glass.
