Hello there, I'm Ray. I was born and raised in Japan. I've got into neon since 2011 when I had my first international trip to Las Vegas. I left Japan in 2016 and came back here in 2020 due to corona. Meanwhile I traveled and lived in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, HongKong, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Nepal, USA, China, Mongolia, Russia, Poland, Vienna, Moldova, Ukraine bruh bruh bruh. I had my neon apprenticeship in California, Kyiv, and Nagasaki and I'm about to open up my neon studio soon here in Kyoto, Japan. Also, because I was taking neon photos everywhere I've visit, I've launched neonmap project (https://neonmap.world) a few years ago in terms of digital neon preservation. It is not updated recently due to my busy schedule, but I'd appreciate if you guys can give me any opinions about neonmap. I used to work as a software developer so I know how to program. very excited to be a part of community.
