Started at Rochard Neon in Paterson NJ was a kid under the guise of my Uncle Dom. He was a sheet metal mechanic, fabricator, installer and excellent teacher. Carl Puglisi was the neon glassworker trained via the GI Bill after WWII. Mike Rochard was the owner, another WWII (or earlier) Sign Painter himself. Man that was the stuff- so much talent! I was a metal worker, pattern reverser, mercury trap making paint brush cleaning eager student. Love the smell of One Shot pumping thru the heating system!
