Hey! My name is Leticia Maldonado, (Tiza for short) I'm a bender living and working in Los Angeles, CA. I've been bending on and off for about 10 years now. I learned bending from the artist Michael Flechtner, and design and fabrication from the artist Liki Lakich. I currently have my own art studio in Van Nuys, CA, where I have my bending torches set up. I'm not 100% proficient in processing yet, though I do process most of my own units on Michael's equipment while I save up for my own.  Currently I'm working on a new, small body of work for an upcoming solo exhibition at The Museum of Neon Art in Glendale, CA. I consider myself a mixed media sculptor, with illuminated glass as my primary medium. I mainly use my skill set for my own personal creative self expression, with the occasional commission. I love neon and I'm grateful for the chance to continue connecting and learning with others in our craft!
