I have been assisting a sign shop for the last few years, slowly accumulating familiarity and knowledge about the bending and fabrication of neon signage. I am primarily a flameworker who works with borosilicate glass, but I have really enjoyed learning about the magic of neon thus far. As of now, I assist with processing and painting the tubes, and occasionally mounting onto backers. While my skills in the fire are still novice, I look at my future in the different glass art disciplines as long term commitments. I am eager to learn more and am excited to bring some more neon magic to fruition.
