Tickets for the 2026 Neon Makers Guild Meet-up Bash at the Ignite Sign Museum in Tucson Arizona are now available! ---
Last year, @ignitesignmuseum suffered a building fire, forcing them to close for major repairs. Neon restoration? That’s totally our vibe! Join us in Tucson for a hybrid meet up, mini-conference and fundraiser all in one. ----
Tickets are $45 for members and $80 for non-members which support our fundraising efforts for Ignite, and our newly expanded event offerings.
We’ll enjoy neon in the desert while connecting with fellow benders. We’ll also have bending demos, a swap meet table, discount hotel rooms, Saturday night dinner and NEW this year: presentations and a Neon Tour Friday night.---
Click here ( https://www.eventbrite.com/.../neon-makers-guild-bash...) or feel free to use the QR Code to sign up. ---
If ticket prices are prohibitive for you, please message us. We’re offering scholarships for those who need support, we want to help as many folks come as possible. Not a member? Join today!
P.S. Don't forget to bring your goodies for the swap meet! We can't wait to see you walkin' in the (Tucson) Arizona sun! --

Let’s Help Ignite Shine Again
The Neon Makers Guild is deeply saddened to hear about the fire on October 18th that destroyed so many incredible pieces at Ignite Sign Art Museum. For those of us in the neon community, this loss hits hard — these signs weren’t just glass and gas; they were stories, craftsmanship, and the glowing heart of our shared passion.
Ignite has been a beacon for artists, sign makers, and light lovers everywhere — keeping neon’s history alive and inspiring new makers every day. Now, they need us to return that light. Please consider donating to support their cleanup and recovery efforts. Every bit helps rebuild the glow that connects us all.

“Ever since we crawled out of that primordial slime, that's been our unifying cry: ‘More light.’ Sunlight. Torchlight. Candlelight. Neon. Incandescent... Light is more than watts and footcandles.Light is metaphor... Light is knowledge. Light is life. Light is light.”
Let’s come together as a community of makers, artists, and light lovers — and help Ignite Sign Art Museum bring the glow back to Tucson and beyond.

We are very excited to announce that we will be sponsoring a regional neon meetup at @uptownneonrva in Richmond,Virginia.
-
SEPTEMBER 16th. 9am-6pm
-
Virgina seemed to be a nice central location for the east coast folks to get together, and Uptown is a SUPER cool shop. No brainer right?
--
Started by the late Douglas Solyan in the early 80's this welcoming neon shop is responsible for many iconic Richmond area signs. He gladly shared his love of neon with all interested customers who visited and mentored several people around the world in the ways of bending glass tubing.
--
Sadly Doug passed away in 2022 but his legacy lives on.

@kottwitz.studio his last apprentice and new owner of Uptown Neon kindly opens up her studio for us to visit, hang out, and have some fun in her fires.

Open to members and non members alike!

Won’t you join us?
