One of my favorite processes I've come across is Plasma, and this was the first piece I ever filled. I made it in the glass shop in Philadelphia in 2016, and took it to Urban Glass in New York and had it filled with the help of Emily Craddock. I had no idea of what gas fill to do, because at this point I had only seen it was possible and had no instruction, so I just decided lets try neon to keep it simple and oppose the green uranium under a UV light. We kept adding pressure until we saw a nice internal red/orange glow while testing with a tech 22 power supply, and then tipped it off for the keeping once I liked. This piece still works and is at my studio.
